Face Shape series. Oval face shape

There are 6 main face shapes, round, square, long, heart, diamond or oval.
If you have an oval face shape the length of your face equals 1 1/2 times the width of your face.
Oval is the most versatile face shape, you can wear almost any hairstyle.

You can go short, long, straight or wavy, or even a more funky edgy hairstyle. To find your most flattering style, consider your best feature and highlight it with your haircut. 

If you have gorgeous bone structure consider an angular bob that shows off your chin. 

If your eyes are your best feature face framing layers or a side swept fringe is your best bet! 

There are a few minor styles you can avoid with an oval face shape, like short layers that add too much height to the top of your head. These may make your face appear longer. If your hair is thick or curly avoid a blunt cut, go for something soft with texture that is soft around the face. If you have naturally curly hair with an oval face shape, it is best to keep your length below the shoulders.
